Lately

It has been absolutely manic for us lately but we've been up to some pretty fun stuff.

ONE We took a quick weekend trip to Adelaide where we enjoyed a night out on Rundle St and then an afternoon in the hills. The trip went for a bit longer than expected when we missed our flight home on Sunday evening. Fortunately, we were able to catch the next flight out on Monday morning, but it meant a 5am start which left my better half none too pleased.

TWO Finally managed to go visit Jamie's Italian on Pitt St! We have both loved Jamie Oliver ever since we discovered his 30 Minute Meals episodes - we used to sit and watch multiple episodes in one sitting then would get all inspired and try to cook what we'd just watched. He's really what got us into cooking. We have been meaning to visit Jamie's Italian since it opened and we weren't disappointed. We enjoyed three types of pasta and some nice wine to wash it all down. Highly recommend it if you haven't been!

THREE Our recent engagement has seen us travelling all over Sydney to find an outdoor venue for our wedding ceremony. We're loving some venues in Vaucluse at the moment - the surroundings are beautiful full of lots of greenery and the water close by.

FOUR It was Rach's birthday a couple of Thursdays ago! We enjoyed celebrating at the lovely Burnt Orange in Mosman and what's a birthday without some tasty treats. Macaroons make any day a good day.
